Edington Mazambani is a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant having completed his articles with Deloitte and Touché. Edington’s wealth of experience spans over 21 years in the field of financial services institution, accounting and auditing having worked for various companies both in Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo in the manufacturing, construction, telecommunications, mining and engineering sectors.

Misheck Siyakatshana, BSc (Eng) Hons(UZ), MBL(Unisa), MZweIE, Pr Eng
Technical Director
Misheck Siyakatshana holds a BSc(Engineering)Hons degree from the University of Zimbabwe as well as a Master’s degree in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa (UNISA).He has wide engineering and management experience having worked in various industry sectors in different roles of responsibility. In the energy sector, he has unique in-depth experience in both the power and petroleum sectors having spent several years as executive director in the electricity utility company and another spell in a management role at an international oil company in the early part of his career. Misheck joined ZERA in 2012 and has been instrumental in the setting up and implementation of various regulatory frameworks in both the electricity and petroleum sectors as well formulating and executing several strategies/programmes to promote the deployment of renewable/clean energy and energy efficiency.

Jacqueline Mupamhanga, LLBs (UZ)
Corporate Secretary/Legal Advisor
Jacqueline has more than 12 years’ experience gained from both the private and public sectors. Before joining ZERA, she was employed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe as a Legal Advisor. Prior to that, she was employed by Fidelity Printers and Refiners (Pvt) Ltd as Company Secretary / Legal Advisor. Jacqueline is currently studying towards a Masters in Strategic Management Degree with the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

Learmore Nechitoro, BSc Economics, MSc Economics (UZ)
Senior Economic Regulation Manager
Learnmore has vast experience gained from working in Government and private sector before joining ZESA at corporate planning level. At the formation of Zimbabwe Electricity Regulatory Commission (ZERC), he was seconded from ZESA to spearhead the functionalisation of that institution and start regulating the electricity sector. He then joined ZERA at its formation and is involved in economic regulation of the energy sector covering energy prices determination, licensing, sector performance monitoring and enforcement of energy sector laws, regulations and conditions of operation.

Charity Machimbidzofa
Senior Manager Monitoring and Evaluation
Charity Machimbidzofa holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Zimbabwe, a Masters Degree in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance from the Midlands State University in Zimbabwe as well as Organisational Restructuring training from the University Of Georgetown (USA). She has a wealth of 33 years of legal, corporate secretarial and monitoring and evaluation experience gained from Government, ZESA, ZERA, the banking sector and the water and infrastructure sector in Mozambique. Charity’s experience in the energy sector in particular spans over 20 years , having been employed by ZESA as well as the Zimbabwe Electricity Regulatory Commission (ZERC) (ZERA’s predecessor) as Acting Commissioner General, tasked with its set up and operationalisation from 2003 to 2008. She joined ZERA in 2015 and has been instrumental in the set up and operationalisation of its Monitoring and Evaluation services.
